Reduction of Carbon Emissions through Clean Energy Education

TLDR

• Relief to Development Society (REDESO) partnered with the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) to train 12 trainers from various VETA colleges in clean energy technologies.
• The trainers are from VETA colleges located in Dar es Salaam, Moshi, Mbeya, Mwanza, Pwani, and Singida, and the training lasts for 10 days, combining theory and practical skills.
• The project aims to empower women and youth with practical skills in clean energy, focusing on solar energy, clean cookstoves, and electric transportation including cars, motorcycles, and bajaj.
• The training includes solar energy systems, their components, and installation methods for homes, led by solar technology expert Mzumbe Musa.
• The training is taking place at the Morogoro Technical Teacher Training College, and upon completion, the trainers will pass on their knowledge to their students.
