Increased Awareness and Skills in Clean Energy among Trainers

TLDR

• The Relief to Development Society (REDESO) partnered with the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) to conduct a 10-day training for 12 trainers from various VETA colleges.
• The trainers are from VETA institutions in Dar es Salaam, Moshi, Mbeya, Mwanza, Pwani, and Singida, focusing on clean energy technologies.
• The training includes both theoretical and practical knowledge on solar energy, clean cookstoves, and electric transportation technologies.
• Participants are being taught how to install and maintain solar energy systems in homes, with practical sessions led by solar technology expert Mzumbe Musa.
• Trainers expressed that the training has enhanced their understanding of clean energy and they are now prepared to teach their students about these technologies.
