Impact of Clean Energy Training on Community Health and Environment

TLDR

• Relief to Development Society (REDESO) and the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) conducted a 10-day training for 12 trainers from various VETA colleges in Tanzania.
• The training focused on clean energy technologies, including solar energy, clean cookstoves, and electric transportation, aimed at empowering women and youth with practical skills.
• Participants learned about the installation, use, and maintenance of solar energy systems, guided by solar technology expert Mzumbe Musa.
• The training took place at the Morogoro Vocational Teacher Training College, and the trainers will pass on their knowledge to their students.
• A clean energy curriculum is being developed to be integrated into the training programs of participating TVET institutions.
