Challenges faced by African farmers highlighted at the expo

• The 10th Africa Agri Expo will be held alongside the third Future Food, Livestock and Poultry Expo at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Trade Fair Grounds on September 2 and 3, 2026.
• Farmers, agribusinesses, policymakers and technology providers from 35 countries are expected to meet in Dar es Salaam in September to discuss innovations and challenges affecting Africa’s agriculture and food systems.
• The expo’s broader impact will therefore be measured by whether the technologies, knowledge and partnerships generated reach farmers, strengthen local processing, create employment and improve food security.
