- SINGIDA: THE Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) has called on councils in Singida Region to accelerate the registration of food business activities, including small-scale vendors and producers of unpackaged foods.
- The meeting was officiated by the Acting Regional Administrative Secretary, Mr Boaz Kajigili, who underscored the need for close cooperation among government institutions to ensure food business operations comply with.
- Government institutions must work closely to ensure food businesses are managed in accordance with set standards and procedures,” Mr Kajigili said.
- The session brought together Regional and Council Trade Officers, the Regional Medical Officer, Health Officers, as well as coordinators from TBS Singida Region and the Central Zone.
