6000 Cooperative Societies Digitally Managed by eGA in Tanzania

• DODOMA: THE Electronic Government Authority (eGA) says digital transformation is reshaping Tanzania’s agriculture sector, with more than 6,000 cooperative societies now operating through an online management platform.
• So far, more than 6,000 cooperative societies have been registered under the MUVU system, improving oversight while reducing revenue leakages,” Ms Kaswaga said.
• The authority has also partnered with the Cooperative Development Commission to establish the MUVU Cooperative Management System, which has digitised the operations of cooperative societies across the country.
