16% Increase in UDSM Publications in Premier Journals

• More than half of the research produced by the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) is now published in top-tier international journals.
• This milestone was announced during the Education, Skills and Innovation Week in Tanga.
• The Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Adolf Mkenda, honoured over 14 UDSM researchers for high-impact publications.
• 52 percent of UDSM's research papers are indexed in leading global databases such as Web of Science and Scopus (Q1).
• Publications in these premier journals have risen by 16 percent, according to UDSM Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research, Professor Nelson Boniface.
