Training for 12 Trainers of Trainers in Clean Energy Technologies

TLDR

• Relief to Development Society (REDESO) and the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) have trained 12 trainers from VETA colleges to become Trainers of Trainers (ToT) in clean energy technologies.
• The trainers are from VETA colleges in Dar es Salaam, Moshi, Mbeya, Mwanza, Pwani, and Singida, participating in a 10-day training program that combines theory and practical skills.
• The training focuses on three main clean energy technologies: solar energy, clean cookstoves, and electric transportation including electric cars, motorcycles, and tuk-tuks.
• Practical training is led by solar energy technology expert Mzumbe Musa, who instructs participants on installation, usage, and maintenance of solar power systems.
• The training is taking place at the Morogoro Technical Teacher Training College, and the 12 trainers will pass on their knowledge to their students after completion.
