  • DODOMA: TANZANIA and Ethiopia are set to deepen cooperation in agriculture, transport, energy, infrastructure, industries and trade as the two countries prepare for their second Joint Ministerial Meeting.
  • This was disclosed during talks between the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Dr Ngwaru Maghembe and Ethiopia’s outgoing Ambassador to Tanzania, Fekadu Beyene Ayana, who paid a farewell.
  • For his part, Ambassador Ayana thanked the Tanzanian government for the cooperation and conducive environment he enjoyed during his tenure and stressed the need for the two countries to further expand strategic.
  • The ambassador also outlined plans by the Ethiopian Embassy to further develop its plot at Mtumba Government City in Dodoma, as part of efforts to strengthen Ethiopia’s diplomatic presence in Tanzania.
