Community Empowerment through Clean Energy Knowledge for Women and Youth

• The Relief to Development Society (REDESO) partnered with the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) to conduct a 10-day training for 12 trainers from various VETA colleges in Tanzania.
• The trainers are from VETA institutions in Dar es Salaam, Moshi, Mbeya, Mwanza, Pwani, and Singida, focusing on clean energy technologies.
• The training covers solar energy, clean cookstoves, and electric transportation technologies, including cars, motorcycles, and bajaj.
• Participants are being taught how to install and maintain solar energy systems in homes, with practical training provided by solar technology expert Mzumbe Musa.
• The training aims to empower women and youth with knowledge and skills in clean energy, contributing to environmental sustainability.
