  • The Zanzibar Health Research Institute (ZAHRI), under the Ministry of Health, has signed a cooperation agreement with Ningning Medical University in China to promote research, professional exchanges and technology.
  • ZANZIBAR: ZANZIBAR is strengthening its health research capacity through a new partnership with a Chinese medical university aimed at generating scientific evidence to improve healthcare services and address emerging.
  • He said the partnership will focus on three key areas, including collaboration between the Ministry, ZAHRI and the university to conduct research that informs policy and planning.
  • He added that Zanzibar will continue collaborating with local and international institutions to benefit from advances in science, technology and innovation in healthcare.
  • The partnership will also offer opportunities for Zanzibar’s health professionals and researchers to receive specialised training, exchange expertise and participate in joint research projects.
