Overview
Fever is a sign the body is fighting infection such as malaria, typhoid, or viruses. In Tanzania, early malaria testing matters. High fever in children, pregnancy, or with confusion is an emergency.

- Urinary tract infection
- After vaccination (briefly)
When to see a doctor
Get testing and care if fever lasts, is high, or comes with breathing trouble, stiff neck, or confusion.
