They are wholesale crop prices from markets across Tanzania — such as maize, rice and beans — broken down by location. Use them to compare markets, not as a single shop’s retail price.

What unit are prices shown in?

Prices are usually Kilogram. The “Price (Low/High)” column shows the reported low and high for that crop and location.

How can I view prices for a past date?

Use the date strip above the table, or open a URL with ?date=YYYY-MM-DD (for example ?date=2026-06-26) on /finance/commodities. Dates without data are not selected.

What do prices for 13 April 2026 mean?

How are weekly, monthly and yearly % calculated?
