  • The mission is a continuation of the Translation of Tanzania Development Vision 2050 which wants the private sector to be an engine of Tanzania’s economic transformation towards achieving the 1tri economy by 2050.
  • One of the key highlights of the engagement was the Dangote Group’s long-term investment outlook, including plans to invest up to US$46 billion by 2030 across strategic sectors in Africa, including Tanzania.
  • Those engagements reaffirmed a shared commitment to strengthening economic cooperation and accelerating Tanzania’s industrial transformation.
