• Tanzania therefore needs innovative financing mechanisms that mobilise private capital alongside public investment.
• Nature-based Solutions provide an opportunity to transform conservation from a financial burden into an attractive investment opportunity.
• Community participation remains the cornerstone of successful Nature-based Solutions.
