  • DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA has finalized preparations to host the Africa50 Annual General Shareholders Meeting and the Africa Infrastructure Forum, scheduled to take place on August 6, 2026, at the Julius Nyerere.
  • The projects are aimed at attracting international investors and supporting the implementation of the Fourth Five-Year National Development Plan and Tanzania’s Development Vision 2050.
  • The Africa50 Annual General Meeting and Infrastructure Forum is expected to strengthen regional cooperation on infrastructure financing while creating new investment opportunities to support sustainable economic growth.
  • Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Albert Chalamila announced the preparations during a press briefing in the city, saying the event will be hosted by President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
  • He said the forum presents a significant opportunity for Tanzania to showcase its growing position as a regional hub for trade, investment and infrastructure development.
