  • The project, which cost more than Sh30 million, has provided the school with modern equipment, including 25 desktop computers, a projector, a Smart TV, a whiteboard and an ICT maintenance kit.
  • BUKOBA, KAGERA: Helios Towers has officially launched a modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) laboratory at Katale Secondary School in Bukoba District, Kagera Region, as part of its community investment.
  • Bukoba Municipal Council Executive Director’s representative, Ms Consolatha Joseph, launches a modern ICT laboratory at Katale Secondary School in Bukoba recently.
  • Meanwhile, Katale Secondary School Headteacher Basharu Hussein and students thanked Helios Towers for providing the equipment, pledging to make full use of the facilities in their studies.
  • Speaking shortly after the launch, Helios Towers Director of Marketing and Sales Ellen Lupilli said the laboratory would help students learn ICT-related subjects, adding that the company aims to extend similar support.

Kwa muda mrefu, wanafunzi wa shule hiyo walikuwa na kiu ya kujifunza kompyuta, sasa wamepata maabara ya kisasa ya Teknolojia ya Habari na Mawasiliano (Tehama) yenye kompyuta 25, jambo ambalo limeibua matumaini mapya kwa wanafunzi wanaotamani kujifunza na kutumia teknolojia.
