  • The forum, held in October 2025 and July this year, brought together development partners, education experts, universities and government institutions from Tanzania and other African countries.
  • DODOMA: MORE than 68,000 education leaders have been trained by the Agency for the Development of Educational Management (ADEM) as the government intensifies reforms to strengthen school leadership, improve.
  • During the 2025/26 academic year, the agency admitted 2,016 trainees and plans to increase enrolment to 3,500 next year by expanding academic programmes and strengthening partnerships with local and international.
  • Dr Maulid said ADEM has received more than 16.16bn/- through the five-year BOOST project, enabling it to train 17,817 head teachers, 3,907 ward education coordinators and 208 regional and district education officers.
  • Among its key recommendations was the formation of a National School Management Committee to guide implementation of the Education Policy and Development Vision 2050.
