  • The Uganda athletics team has intensified preparations for the upcoming Federation of East Africa School Sports Association (FESA) Games, which will be held from 13th to 23rd August 2026 in Morogoro, Tanzania.
  • The team will continue with intensive training throughout the final week of camp before departing for Morogoro, where Uganda will compete against other East African nations at the 2026 FEASSA Games.
  • Speaking after eight days in camp, Team Manager James Mawa thanked the Government of Uganda and the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) for providing the athletes with an opportunity to camp and prepare.
  • The team, started residential camp last week, is currently training at Kids of Africa in Entebbe as athletes continue to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the regional championship.
