  • DODOMA: MORE than 6,000 cooperative societies have been digitised under the Electronic Government Authority’s (eGA) online management platform, boosting transparency, strengthening oversight and improving service.
  • So far, more than 6,000 cooperative societies have been registered under the MUVU system, strengthening oversight while reducing revenue leakages,” Ms Kaswaga said.
  • The authority has also partnered with the Cooperative Development Commission to establish the MUVU Cooperative Management System, which has digitised the operations of cooperative societies nationwide.
  • Through the platform, farmers can monitor produce delivered to cooperatives, track sales and verify payments due to them, significantly improving transparency and accountability.
