- TADB Managing Director, Frank Nyabundege, made the remarks in the presence of President Samia Suluhu Hassan during the closing ceremony of the 2026 Nanenane agricultural exhibitions.
- He said the bank had invested 611.8 billion/- in food crops alone, while strategic crops and sectors, including edible oils, coffee, cashew nuts, sugar and cotton, had received a combined investment of 884.24 billion/-.
- Nyabundege said that as the country continued implementing the National Development Vision 2050, under which the private sector is expected to account for about 70 per cent of its implementation, TADB was well.
- DODOMA: THE Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has disbursed loans worth 1.55 tri/- to finance 862 projects in the agricultural sector and related activities across the country.
- According to TADB, the investments have contributed to increased production, value addition and improved access to markets for farmers and other actors across the agricultural value chain.
