Overview
Nosebleeds are common in dry air or after picking the nose. Sit upright and pinch the soft nose for 10 minutes. Heavy, repeating, or post-injury bleeding needs care.

When to see a doctor
Seek care if bleeding will not stop after 20 minutes, is heavy, or keeps returning.
