Overview

Dyspepsia (indigestion) can relate to large meals, fatty foods, reflux, or ulcers. This is not a diagnosis. Night-waking pain, vomiting blood, or weight loss needs evaluation.

Possible causes

  • Large or fatty meals
  • Acid reflux
  • Stomach ulcers
  • NSAID medicines
  • H. pylori (after testing)
