Highlights

  • Net sales revenue increased by 4% to TShs 1,112,608 million (2015: TShs 1,073,124 million).
  • Profit before income tax grew by 6% to TShs 327,812 million (2015: TShs 308,930 million).
  • Profit for the year for the Group was TShs 228,981 million (2015: TShs 216,555 million).
  • Basic Earnings per Share increased by 7% to TShs 771.2 (2015: TShs 717.7).
  • Total dividend payment was TShs 176,292 million, equivalent to TShs 600 per share, a 20% increase from the prior year.
  • Contributed TShs 474,777 million to Government revenue through corporate, excise, and value-added taxes.
