Kwa mwezi Aprili 2026, gharama za kuagiza mafuta (premiums) katika Bandari ya Dar es Salaam zimeongezeka kwa wastani wa asilimia 15.3 kwa mafuta ya petroli na asilimia 10.8 kwa mafuta ya dizeli na hakuna mabadiliko ya gharama kwa mafuta ya taa.
Mabadiliko ya bei za mafuta nchini kwa mwezi Aprili 2026 yamechangiwa kwa kiasi kikubwa na vita inayoendelea Mashariki ya kati tarehe 28 Februari 2026.

William Vangimembe Lukuvi ambaye amefariki leo Machi 25, 2026 wakati akipatiwa matibabu katika Hospitali ya Benjamin Mkapa, jijini Dodoma, ni mmoja wa wanasiasa mashuhuri wa Tanzania aliyetoa mchango mkubwa katika siasa za kitaifa. Ametumikia nafasi mbalimbali za uongozi serikalini na kujijengea sifa ya uongozi thabiti kupitia utumishi wa muda mrefu serikalini na uwakilishi wake bungeni.
