Serikali inaendelea kutekeleza mradi wa ujenzi wa ghala la kupokea na kuhifadhi mafuta lenye uwezo wa kupokea tani 308,110 katika Bandari ya Dar es Salaam ambao umefikia asilimia 30.

William Vangimembe Lukuvi ambaye amefariki leo Machi 25, 2026 wakati akipatiwa matibabu katika Hospitali ya Benjamin Mkapa, jijini Dodoma, ni mmoja wa wanasiasa mashuhuri wa Tanzania aliyetoa mchango mkubwa katika siasa za kitaifa. Ametumikia nafasi mbalimbali za uongozi serikalini na kujijengea sifa ya uongozi thabiti kupitia utumishi wa muda mrefu serikalini na uwakilishi wake bungeni.
Mpina ambaye amewahi kuwa Waziri wa Mifugo na Uvuvi akizungumza na Mwananchi amesimulia sababu iliyotaka kumfanya kuikataa bajeti hiyo, kwamba Mpango wa Maendeleo ulikuwa unaeleza Serikali itatenga asilimia 35 ya bajeti kutelekezwa kwenye maendeleo lakini yenyewe ikatenga asilimia 22.
Mdee amesema Lukuvi alikuwa akichukua ushauri na mapendekezo ya hotuba za kambi ya upinzani bungeni na kwenda kuvifanyia kazi kwa vitendo.
